Forest Bathing Experience
Thursday, May 14, 2026, 7:30 - 9:00AM
Ault Park, Cincinnati
Spending time in nature does more than simply give us a break from our routines. Research increasingly shows that natural environments help quiet mental chatter, calm the brain’s threat response, and allow the nervous system to settle into a more restorative state.
Odessa Healing Center invites you to experience the gentle practice of forest bathing: a guided opportunity to slow down, engage your senses, and reconnect with the natural world. During this special morning experience, participants will enjoy.
- A brief introduction to the practice and benefits of forest bathing
- A slow, 90-minute guided walk through the forest
- Gentle meditation, nature poetry, and quiet time for reflection
- A closing Gratitude Tea Ceremony
- A small takeaway gift to remember the experience

In a world that feels increasingly overwhelming, this 90-minute class offers space to slow down, reconnect, and discover the stillness within you.
We'll begin with a brief discussion and reflection, exploring the purpose behind yogic practices as we weave together modern nervous system science with ancient wisdom. This foundation helps us understand why these practices can transform our relationship with stress and uncertainty.
The practice draws from yoga's toolkit: gentle, trauma-informed movement, breathing techniques (pranayama), sound work (mantra), and meditation. You'll learn practical approaches for calming anxiety, supporting nervous system balance, and building resilience.
Every practice honors your choices while inviting you to recognize the steady peace that is always available, regardless of external circumstances. This unchanging awareness becomes your refuge, accessible in any moment, no matter what's happening around you.
Open to all levels—no prior yoga experience needed, only curiosity and willingness to meet yourself with compassion.
You School: Transformative Tools for Self-Leadership
Nine Months. Nine Gatherings. One steady discovery of yourself.
2245 Gilbert Ave, Cincinnati
Many of us arrive at a season where the roles, responsibilities, and rhythms we’ve carried for years begin to feel… less defining. We look around at careers we’ve grown, families we love, the homes or communities we’ve built—and still sense something unsettled, something unnamed.
You School is an invitation to pause, turn toward yourself with curiosity, and become a devoted student of your own inner world.
It is a place for the overthinkers and high-capacity humans who sense something deeper calling but don’t quite know how to access it.
The traditions that inform this work—psychology, contemplative practices, neuroscience, and wisdom teachings—share a core belief: As we expand our capacity to be with ourselves, we expand our capacity to be with the world, to meet it as it is.
This Program Is for You If…
-
You’re in a transition and feel something shifting, but aren’t sure what’s next.
-
You understand yourself, yet feel stuck changing long-standing patterns.
-
You want embodied, grounding practices—not more overthinking.
-
You hold a lot for others and want support that meets you where you are.
Are you ready to transform your connection to yourself?
