Yoga therapy works with the whole person—body, breath, mind, emotions, and spirit—using the framework of the koshas, the five layers of being. This integrative approach embraces whole-person healing and deep restoration. Lauren’s work weaves together movement, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness-based practices to support balance and connection on all levels.

With nearly 2,000 hours of teaching and training, Lauren brings depth and experience to her work. She completed her foundational yoga therapy training with Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy in 2021 and earned her advanced 875-hour certification in 2023. She also teaches at Kindred Flow Yoga in Wyoming, OH, and serves as a board member and teacher for Project Yoga, bringing yoga to underserved communities.

Before her career in yoga therapy, Lauren spent 13 years in the financial services industry, working in marketing and relationship management in New York City. Her background gives her a deep understanding of the stress and overwhelm many professionals face—an insight that informs her therapeutic work today.

Why I Do This Work

I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone who feels called to practice. I am committed to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where healing can unfold naturally.

Yoga therapy has only deepened my passion for this tradition and its powerful ethos: that every human being is already whole and complete. I center my practice around ahimsa, or non-harming, ensuring that my approach is always gentle, respectful, and empowering. Through traditional yogic practices adapted to meet modern needs, I guide my students in rediscovering their inner wisdom, resilience, and true essence.

Many of my clients come to yoga therapy after trying countless other modalities and feeling frustrated by piecemeal approaches to healing. What they discover, and what I deeply believe, is that true well-being doesn’t come from fixing or fighting ourselves—it comes from recognizing and reconnecting with our innate wholeness.
